As a Manufacturing Production Associate II, you will be an integral part of the operational team focused on attaining superior business outcomes through self-manufactured products.

What does the role entail?

Manufacturing Operations:

  • Ensures total process ownership (TPO) for optimal manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Handles products to transform raw materials into finished goods (e.g., cutting, trimming, slicing, dicing, seasoning, mixing, decorating, designing, icing, digital processing)
  • Completes Mfg system (QMS) documentation with basic knowledge
  • Assists in preparing and loading production materials
  • Verifies product accuracy
  • Fabricates and fills product containers as required
  • Conducts quality control checks to meet product specifications
  • Performs duties of Production Partner I as necessary
  • Depending on the facility, machine operation may involve intermediate-level tasks, production setup, changeover, cleaning, and troubleshooting of various equipment

Shipping Duties:

  • Packs finished products into shipping units
  • Palletizes shipping units securely, adhering to correct tie height
  • Ensures pallets are strapped or stretch-wrapped to prevent product shifting or damage
  • Selects orders for shipment
  • Operates a forklift safely
  • Confirms product condition for shipment
  • Loads trailers with finished goods
  • Documents outgoing shipments
  • Requests and releases trailers as needed

Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Unloads trailers containing raw materials
  • Breaks down pallets and separates products when necessary
  • Verifies products against the bill of lading
  • May conduct internal testing to ensure product specifications meet company standards

Sanitation Tasks:

  • Assembles and disassembles equipment for cleaning and sanitizing
  • May utilize automated cleaning systems
  • May employ various chemical agents for sanitation

Candidate Background:

  • High school diploma
  • Certification in Team Skills

Essential Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of automated cleaning processes and chemical agents
  • Basic understanding of equipment assembly and disassembly
  • Familiarity with QES standards
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in math, reading, and writing
  • Computer skills
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to operate machines or equipment at an intermediate level

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stays
  • Willingness to work extended hours and rotating schedules
  • Capacity to navigate the facility and perform job functions, with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work in varying environments, including wet, cold, or hot conditions
