Position Summary
The Technical Service Specialist II is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure the retention of our North American customer base. This role involves executing comprehensive installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and enhancements on sophisticated Werfen instrumentation and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver on-site customer support, performing installations, cost-effective repairs, preventative maintenance, and service enhancements on Werfen instruments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to strengthen client relationships and ensure retention.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and customers, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
  • Advise clients on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Werfen systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Commercial Operations, sharing insights on customer situations and product information.
  • Promote service contracts and manage renewals through strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and service policies, maintaining accurate records.
  • Document service activities promptly and accurately in customer service reports.
  • Oversee the accuracy of assigned service inventory.

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree in Electronics, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a technical or support role, preferably in a customer-facing capacity.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, effective communication skills, and technical proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays as necessary. A valid driver's license is required.
