Patient Care Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Pinnacle GI Partners. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our GI procedures and patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule GI procedures and manage provider schedules
  • Review and follow up on schedule changes, cancellations, and rescheduling
  • Schedule radiology and testing for the department
  • Establish and track testing schedules
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers
  • Provide pre-procedure information and answer patient questions
  • Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a medical setting
  • Radiology or procedure scheduling experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask
