Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare meals in alignment with resident dietary needs, adhering to community protocols, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards under the guidance of the Food Service Director. Additional duties may be assigned by community representatives.

It is essential to follow all health, sanitation, and infection control policies while upholding the standards established by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of food safety and sanitation principles is required.
  • Must comply with state-specific food handler training requirements.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff effectively.
  • Must observe proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours as per the job requirements.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:
Prior experience in long-term care settings is preferred but not essential.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
Shifts: Varies
Hourly Wage: $17.00 per hour
