Position Overview:

Join our team at Vitality Bowls as a Cashier and Culinary Associate, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and delicious, nutritious meals to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Master the training materials to effectively communicate the health benefits of our menu items to guests in an engaging and informative manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and outdoor spaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service by being friendly, polite, and informative, while providing accurate wait times.
  • Assist customers with their orders, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our food offerings and recipes, adhering to preparation standards to deliver high-quality meals promptly.
  • Prepare ingredients and food items according to established procedures.
  • Consistently clean and organize the kitchen and dining areas to uphold our hygiene standards.
  • Receive and organize deliveries to maintain an orderly workspace.
  • Handle dishwashing duties and ensure proper storage of kitchenware.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Deliver food to customers with a positive attitude.
  • Communicate scheduling needs with management in a timely manner.
  • Punctually complete all opening and closing tasks as assigned.
  • Be flexible and willing to assist with additional tasks as requested by management.
  • Adhere to sanitation protocols and safety regulations.
  • Manage food inventory by stocking and rotating items appropriately.
  • Implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Foster teamwork and a collaborative spirit among staff.
  • Monitor food quality and address any special circumstances that arise.
  • Engage in effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • Obtain food safety certification.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and POS systems; experience handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Comply with health, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with team members.

Compensation: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
