About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to join our Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our customer care, trust, reliability, engagement, and observability experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Guide teams to identify customers' unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancement and development of feature(s)/feature areas.
  • Lead teams to perform experiments to test hypotheses and inform decisions on what new feature areas to introduce.
  • Direct teams on prioritization and execution, assessing acquisition targets to enhance the migration offering.
  • Provide strategic guidance to teams to define the long-term vision and strategy for the feature(s)/feature areas.
  • Lead teams to develop problem statements and form hypotheses of new feature(s)/feature areas to address highly complex customer needs and/or market opportunities.
  • Drive the development of product/feature specifications with visual and written designs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to gather input and garner support for product/service vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Influence leadership and drive alignment across complex organizational structures.
  • Lead teams to define significant business impact across the organization, success criteria, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with engineering teams as a subject matter expert on feature design and user experience, focusing on privacy compliance and excellence.
  • Evangelize feature areas with internal and external stakeholders via presentations, blogs, social media, and large events.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to develop release criteria, customer strategies, and marketing content.
  • Identify and prioritize short-term and long-term investment opportunities in consultation with cross-functional partners.
  • Provide hands-on program management during various project phases, contributing to agile development practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management.
  • OR software development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years people management experience.
  • Experience with GitHub/Gitlab or Azure DevOps.
