Position Overview: APTS is currently seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt physical education activities to provide instructional materials that meet Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within established lesson plans.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and other school personnel to enhance student outcomes and achieve classroom objectives.
  • Work alongside occupational and physical therapists to ensure program continuity.
  • Assist students in maximizing their motor skills through group and individual activities.
  • Develop tailored activities on a weekly and monthly basis based on each student's needs and goals.
  • Acquire specialized equipment and programs to improve students' motor skills.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education. A conditional license may be granted if the teacher is actively pursuing the necessary endorsement.
