General Duties:

The Logistics Warehouse Operator is tasked with executing various warehouse functions, including but not limited to picking, packing, checking, shipping, stocking, and receiving goods. The role is essential in ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and promptly, fostering trust and confidence in the service provided.


Primary Duties:
  • Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) devices or pick tickets to efficiently and accurately select items.
  • Verify the correctness of picked items, ensuring the right unit of measure, size, and quantity.
  • Conduct quality checks and pack customer orders meticulously to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Receive incoming freight, checking for discrepancies and ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Stock and rotate inventory as necessary while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Replenish supplies as needed and comply with all safety protocols.
  • Be prepared to work overtime when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. Previous experience in warehouse or distribution settings is advantageous.


Skills and Abilities:

Candidates should possess adequate mobility to walk and stand for extended periods, pull orders from various shelf heights, and lift weights of up to 35 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally. Proficiency in reading and understanding English, number recognition, and good hand-eye coordination is essential. A sense of urgency to meet deadlines is necessary, and basic computer skills are desirable.


Work Environment:

The characteristics of the work environment include exposure to noise typical of warehouse settings.


Physical and Mental Requirements:

Physical demands include the ability to operate in a production-driven environment, perform tasks that require reaching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive motions. Associates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and possess visual acuity for close and distance vision. The ability to handle stressful situations effectively is also important.
