Commercial Construction Financial Analyst
Our client, a leading Commercial General Contractor, is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be instrumental in overseeing and managing financial data crucial to their construction initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with the Controller and Project Managers to guarantee precise financial reporting and adherence to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize financial records, including project expenses and ledgers.
  • Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in the budgeting process by collecting historical data and aiding in expense predictions.
  • Work alongside project managers to monitor project expenditures and ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
  • Handle invoice processing and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant construction industry regulations.
  • Participate in both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
