Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize financial records, including project expenses and ledgers.
- Evaluate financial information to uncover trends, inconsistencies, and potential cost-saving measures.
- Assist in the budgeting process by collecting historical financial data and aiding in expense projections.
- Work alongside project managers to monitor project expenditures and ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
- Process financial transactions, including invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant construction industry regulations.
- Participate in audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities.
