Cobble Hill LifeCare is seeking a skilled Food Service Manager to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. This includes managing the evening shift, ensuring that dietary aides are completing tasks, cooks are following the timeline set for meal completion, and evening meals are prepared in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations with our established policies and procedures. You will consult with the cooks and cook helpers to ensure that meals are prepared according to recipes, in a timely manner, and will provide input on menu planning and recipes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a chef as a cook in an accredited institution, hold a food handlers certification, and possess knowledge of operating equipment used in food preparation.
