Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Wawa. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a high-performing team of associates to achieve sales and customer service goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
    • Recruit, train, and develop associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
    • Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
    • Manage and control store expenses, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including loyalty programs and customer feedback initiatives.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage and control store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, including those related to safety, security, and compliance.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to the store and the company, including those related to customer safety, employee well-being, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the retail or food service industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, associates, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
