We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceutical. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place systems to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Assemble and install valve assemblies and filter carts to support production operations.
- Operate general production equipment, including autoclaves, COP washers, and other specialized equipment.
- Complete Electronic Batch Management (EBM) program to document all activities and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Perform routine cleaning of production rooms and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform sampling using aseptic techniques to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Receive and distribute supplies into production areas to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Train and mentor other team members to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Revise and review important documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Help troubleshoot process problems and respond to alarms to ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment; experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing principles and practices.
- Knowledge of basic laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment, including autoclaves, process tanks, incubators, analytical equipment, and CIP/SIP systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with ability to learn other software applications as needed.
