Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for supporting the testing and analysis of pharmaceutical products throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a wide range of biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products, including environmental monitoring and quality control testing.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, incubators, and analytical equipment.
  • Prepare and sterilize materials for testing, and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Verify operating parameters of temperature-controlled units and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the retrieval of samples from manufacturing areas to the QC Laboratory for testing.
  • Enter data into laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and generate reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, incubators, and analytical equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures, and good computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a controlled environment, wearing protective clothing and following gowning requirements. The position may also require working in a confined area, and may involve exposure to chemicals such as alcohol, acids, and buffers.
