Educational Speech Pathologist

Lewiston Public Schools is committed to providing a comprehensive educational program that addresses the diverse needs of our students. As a Communication Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and social development of our students who require specialized communication services.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech-language pathology, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders. Experience working with children and adults with communication disorders is essential. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is preferred. Certification as a Speech Therapist is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to meet the unique needs of students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to integrate therapy into daily activities
- Provide counseling and support to parents and families as needed
- Supervise students and maintain accurate records
Salary Range: $41,286.41 - $77,875.35 per year
