Residential Program Manager

The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, direction, and supervision of the Residential Program, Individual Home Support, or Continuous Residential Support. This includes ensuring compliance with all regulations established by relevant regulatory bodies and policies set by the CCARC, Inc. Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trends and information related to providing services to individuals with disabilities, with a focus on maximizing the potential of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the assigned Residential Program to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and CCARC policies.
- Develop and implement Individual Plans for each resident, identifying and addressing their needs and goals.
- Record and track resident progress, changes, and status.
- Organize and participate in team meetings, including individual, residential-staff, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Hire, train, and supervise Residential Program staff, ensuring they meet certification and training requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including Individual Plans, resident records, and financial records.
- Monitor and manage the operating budget of the Residential Programs, including food, house monies, and resident personal spending.
- Administer medications and oversee medication ordering and recording.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Residential Services regarding program issues, concerns, and updates.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the field of disabilities for a Bachelor's Degree, or 3 years for a High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License and insurability with the Agency carrier
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, strong communication and negotiation skills, and neat and accurate record keeping
Physical Requirements:
The Residential Program Manager must possess the physical and emotional health needed to effectively and efficiently complete duties, including lifting and transferring activities, and may be required to restrain residents/program participants.
