Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager to join our team at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure a skilled and dedicated team.
  • Identify educational needs and develop training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to inform management of unit performance and quality initiatives.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including budget planning and authorization of expenditures.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, with a focus on quality patient care and staff development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and unit performance.
