Director of Nursing Opportunity

The Laurels of West Columbus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and evaluate the nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and State Tested Nursing Assistants
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the budget process and maintain the nursing supply, equipment, and staffing budgets
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements:
  • Director of Nursing or management experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing
  • Additional certification in nursing specialty desired
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
