Director of Nursing Opportunity

The Laurels of West Columbus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing care policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and State Tested Nursing Assistants.
  • Collaborate with the administration team to develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable managed care, Medicare, and state Medicaid regulations, reimbursement systems, and methodology.
Requirements:
  • RN license in the state.
  • Director of Nursing, management, or supervisor experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
  • Additional certification in nursing specialty desired.
