Nursing Leadership Opportunity

The Laurels of West Columbus is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform resident rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
  • Ensure proper charting and documentation of care and of medications and treatments.
  • Recommend staffing levels and participate in the budget process.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations and reimbursement systems.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program.
Requirements:
  • RN license in the state.
  • Director of Nursing, management or supervisor experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric nursing.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
  • Additional certification in nursing specialty desired.
