Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the corporate planning into the group-wide procurement roadmap for the fleet division
  • Manage the global requirements of our internal customers and accompany purchasing projects as an interdisciplinary interface to other departments
  • Monitor the market for conventional and innovative partners and strategies relating to our fleet division
  • Conduct tenders and auctions, support rollouts and establish the group-wide e-Sourcing and e-Procurement strategy
  • Conduct annual negotiations with our existing contractual partners and intermediaries in Germany and abroad and support our foreign companies in their negotiations
  • Review and optimize our international quality standards and implement them with our local partners
  • Take on group-wide responsibility for the development of a product group strategy and ensure its implementation
  • Improve the cost structure of SIXT by analyzing, designing and implementing purchasing initiatives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in OFC procurement or a related field, with at least 5 years experience
  • In-depth knowledge of OFC procurement and technical knowledge of vehicle and body specification
  • Very good negotiating skills, coupled with strong cost awareness
  • Ability to work under pressure, team spirit and assertiveness
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and OEMs
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and remain calm and experienced even with short-term project changes
  • Travel up to 25% both domestically and globally
