Key Responsibilities:
  • Grant Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Maintain a Comprehensive Database: Maintain a comprehensive database of grant prospects, deadlines, and requirements.
  • Grant Writing and Development: Write compelling, clear, and persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other related documents.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with the leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive grant strategy.
  • Proposal Review and Submission: Review and edit grant proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Grant Management and Reporting: Assist in tracking and monitoring the status of submitted grant applications.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations, foundations, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in grant writing and strategy, with a proven record of securing funding.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using grant databases and research tools.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and program development.
