Aya Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Portland, OR. As a Respiratory Therapist in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification and NRP, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • At least one year of experience in a pediatric intensive care unit or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
