Job Summary:

As a Patient Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide support and assistance to patients with their daily needs, while also promoting a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist registered nurses in direct care of patients, specifically with activities of daily living
  • Communicate and meet patients' needs for service
  • Observe, monitor, and interact with patients to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Participate in groups and provide assistance as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • C.N.A. preferred: 2% pay differential available to applicants who maintain an active C.N.A. license
Work Schedule:

20/40 part-time evenings, every other weekend
