Job Summary:

As a Patient Advocate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. You will work closely with our registered nurses to ensure that patients receive the best possible service, focusing on their activities of daily living and creating a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist registered nurses in direct patient care, prioritizing patients' needs and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in group activities and provide support to patients, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, adhering to our hospital's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • CNA license preferred, with a 2% pay differential available to applicants who maintain an active CNA license.
Work Schedule:

36/72 Full Time Nights - Every Other Weekend
