Flomatic Valves is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our team. As a key member of our financial management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Controller with the monthly ERP close process to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our financial information.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to help drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Maintain internal controls and procedures throughout all accounting functions.
  • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review, approve, and create journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Help establish and maintain accurate records of all capital additions and depreciation.
  • Assist with daily processes around accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Support the annual audit with external auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification (or in process).
  • Minimum 1-2 years' working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
