Job Overview

As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality care to critically and chronically ill newborns and infants. Our unit is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by top neonatologists and pediatric surgeons.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for pediatrics to join our team. In this role, you will deliver family-centered care guided by CHOP's Nursing Professional Practice Model. You will develop, evaluate, and revise patients' plans of care throughout their hospitalization, gather and analyze data to inform the care team, and promote excellent patient outcomes by adhering to evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver family-centered care guided by CHOP's Nursing Professional Practice Model
  • Develop, evaluate, and revise patients' plans of care throughout their hospitalization
  • Gather and analyze data to inform the care team
  • Promote excellent patient outcomes by adhering to evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and safety procedures
Requirements
  • At least one (1) year RN experience
  • Prior experience in pediatrics or area of specialty preferred
  • Technical diploma- Nursing or Bachelor's degree- Nursing required
Estimated Salary Range:$83,645 - $117,549 per year
