Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate submission of bills and follow-up on patient accounts to ensure prompt and accurate receipt of payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use available tools to complete timely and quality submission of bills and follow-up on patient accounts.
  • Perform account analysis for claim acceptance, rejection, or denials to ensure proper payments are received.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account demographics, including payer information.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external entities.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to patients, affiliates, providers, administrators, employees, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • Keyboarding experience.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a professional office setting.
  • Billing or collections experience.
