Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Bus Maintenance Technician to become a part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will be tasked with performing maintenance and repairs on school buses at various customer sites, ensuring that our fleet operates safely and efficiently.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mechanical background with experience in school bus or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.


Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $22 to $25, paid biweekly. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance, diagnose problems, and repair school buses.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements on various bus components, including engines, transmissions, and air conditioning systems.
  • Document all work completed, including parts used and labor hours, using our internal systems.
  • Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and ensure their satisfaction with our work.
  • Follow all safety protocols and comply with regulatory standards during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good condition.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician for school buses or heavy-duty trucks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong technical skills and mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations and work flexible hours as required.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
