Overview
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of various equipment and systems to guarantee optimal and safe operational conditions. This role involves executing specific tasks related to the maintenance and repair of multiple systems across the facility. A comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential. The technician may be required to participate in on-call duties for the entire facility when necessary. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, identifying issues, and taking necessary actions for repairs or corrections.
- Exhibit proficiency in completing maintenance requests, floor services, and preventive maintenance inspections accurately and in a timely manner with minimal assistance, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Understand and implement emergency preparedness plans.
- Repair both moving and stationary equipment while ensuring safe working practices.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred - Associate's Degree in one or more technical fields.

EXPERIENCE:
Required - 5 years of experience in maintenance or construction-related roles.
Preferred - 5 years of experience in maintenance within a healthcare setting.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED - Valid Driver's License.
PREFERRED - Licenses related to sprinkler systems and/or locksmithing.
