Position Overview:
- Oversee all phases of civil litigation, which includes drafting legal documents, managing discovery processes, leading depositions, representing clients in court, and participating in trial proceedings.
- Perform thorough legal research and analysis to aid in case preparation and strategy formulation.
- Draft and evaluate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal opinions.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure adherence to legal standards and effective risk management.
- Offer legal counsel by interpreting laws, regulations, and judicial rulings.
- Act on behalf of the firm in various legal proceedings.
- Remain updated on legislative developments that impact the firm and its practice areas.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
- Active attorney license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Proven experience in leading depositions and addressing complex legal challenges.
- Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple cases with differing timelines.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with legal software and technology for case management and research.
