Latitude Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing top-notch attorneys and paralegals with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing and recruiting experienced attorneys and paralegals for in-house counsel and law firm contract engagements and permanent positions.
- Conducting thorough interviews with promising candidates to assess their career goals and objectives.
- Communicating with references to verify candidates' strengths and weaknesses.
- Presenting proposed candidates to in-house counsel and law firm partner clients.
- Onboarding and managing Latitude attorneys and paralegals on engagement.
- Coordinating events for prospective and existing Latitude attorneys and paralegals.
- Staying active in the local legal community by participating in legal or other professional associations.
- Minimum of four years of successful experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a mid-to-large corporate law firm or in-house setting.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with experienced lawyer candidates and clients.
- Ability to effectively use social media, online recruiting tools, and in-person networking to source new candidates and market open positions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to perform effectively without close supervision or micro-management.
- Service-minded approach and strong client-service skills, including the ability to communicate at a high level with sophisticated law firm and corporate legal department attorneys.
