We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and related health issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
- Successful completion of the organization's dialysis training program and CPR certification required.
