Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at MJ Care Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in Patient Care
Work closely with licensed physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct patient evaluations, and provide manual therapy techniques, modalities, and exercises to promote patient recovery and mobility.
Communicate Effectively with Patients and ColleaguesCommunicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain Accurate Records and ReportsDocument patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Participate in Continuous Quality ImprovementContribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in educational programs, and engage in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements- Education and Certification
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and current state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Experience and Skills1+ year of experience in a physical therapy setting, with strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Physical and Environmental DemandsAbility to lift, transfer, and position patients with or without assistance, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
