Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in Patient Care
    • Work closely with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
    • Assist with exercises, functional activities, and other therapeutic interventions to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Accurately document patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
    • Current state license and/or certification to provide physical therapist assistant services in good standing.
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1+ year of experience in a physical therapy setting preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
