Work closely with licensed physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct patient evaluations, and provide manual therapy techniques to promote patient recovery and mobility.
Conduct Therapy SessionsLead therapy sessions, instruct patients on exercises and functional activities, and monitor their progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Communicate EffectivelyCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Maintain Accurate RecordsAccurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality patient care.
Requirements- Education and Certification
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and current state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Experience and Skills1+ year of experience in a physical therapy setting, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
Physical DemandsAbility to lift, transfer, and position patients with or without assistance, and work in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of noise and distractions.
