Public Relations Manager

PotomacWave Consulting seeks a skilled Communications Consultant to support our Federal client in Washington, DC. This role involves developing and implementing communication strategies, creating engaging content, and coordinating meetings and events.
About the PositionWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior-level officials and executives to provide program management support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Support stakeholder communications, leadership messaging, and reporting
- Develop and implement communication strategies and plans
- Create engaging content, including presentations, reports, and other materials
- Coordinate meetings, events, and logistics
- Maintain tracking and repository tools
- Three (3) years of experience in communications, federal consulting, or related industry
- BS/BA Degree from an Accredited University
- Strong familiarity with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Familiarity with FEMA and/or other Government agencies' communications and media relations is a plus
- Ability to maintain courteous, cooperative working relationships with senior level officials and executives inside and outside the agency
- Excellent written and verbal skill in expressing ideas, policies, and technical issues orally and in writing
- Strong teamwork skills with flexibility working with diverse personalities
- Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, with competing priorities
$60,000 - $85,000 per year
