">Job Description:

The Communications Department plays a critical role in telling the story of America's trails, inspiring activism and motivating people to be active outdoors. This internship provides hands-on experience in communications, marketing, and event planning.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:

We're seeking an undergraduate or graduate student with strong organizational, research, and writing skills. Experience with social media, event coordination, and graphic design is a plus.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Support promotional efforts for Celebrate Trails Day on April 26, 2025.
  • Assist with event coordination, shipping logistics, and light graphic-design tasks.
  • Develop social media content and analyze performance on RTC's platforms.
  • Collect and secure permissions for photos and images for RTC's archive and publications.
Requirements:

Candidates must have a permanent residence in one of the states where we operate, which includes CA, CO, DC, FL, MD, ME, MI, OH, OR, PA, VA, or WI.
