We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to join our team as Head of Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and a proven track record of successfully leading a team to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to strategic decisions by providing input to strategic plans and reviews
  • Evaluate, analyze, and report on the quality program
  • Develop and manage against QA budget
  • Create a strategic vision, mature, and direct quality assurance policies, program, and initiatives
  • Develop, implement, enforce, and improve upon quality standards, tools, and methodologies
  • Promote and ensure continual service improvement occurs, and data-based process improvements are implemented for existing QA processes
  • Define and document quality policy, process, and procedures
  • Manage all quality assurance functions
  • Develop QA staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees
  • Engage in the overall Project Lifecycle methodology to inform appropriate data quality and testing considerations are part of the process and templates are available
  • Evaluate and cross-train on integration of technical systems and end-to-end data flows to ensure appropriate level of testing
  • Work with cross-department leadership to deliver high-quality products and services on schedule
  • Manage and promote good working relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Research, champion, and recommend industry best practices
Pre-Requisites
  • 20+ years of experience with at least 12+ years of experience managing a QA team
  • Excellent leadership skills with an enthusiastic style of leading
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills
  • Industry certification(s) (i.e. ITIL, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience in planning and executing end-to-end testing of integrated systems including validation of the integration layer
  • Experience working with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Expertise in performing different types of testing: Black box, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Experience and Academic Qualifications
  • At minimum, a B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field of study
  • Advanced degree, or MBA
