Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead

System One is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and performing supplier and internal audits, as well as reviewing customer and regulatory contracts and developing baseline requirements matrices/documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and perform supplier and internal audits as a Lead Auditor.
  • Review customer and regulatory contracts and develop baseline requirements matrices/documents.
  • Interface with customer and supplier QA representatives and provide solutions to technical and complex compliance issues.
  • Work with Supply Chain management to resolve technical and quality deficiencies with Suppliers quality oversight of critical procurements to meet project milestones and schedules.
  • Review internal and external engineering documents, including design drawings, specifications, test plans/procedures, and other technical documents.
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers and partners.
  • Plan and perform commercial grade surveys of commercial suppliers.
  • Support Engineering with the development and implementation of Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) plans.
  • Coordinate and host Customer and Regulator audits, surveillances, and visits.
  • Review and revise QA processes and procedures.
  • Review quality affecting procedures (engineering, procurement, document control, records, testing, etc.) to ensure program compliance.
  • Review procurement specifications, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure flow-down of applicable quality assurance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline, business, management, or quality assurance field.
  • 15+ years' experience in a nuclear (NRC, DOE) Quality Assurance function preferred or in a regulated environment such as, EPA, aerospace, etc.
  • Current certification as NQA-1 Lead Auditor or other industry recognized certification.
  • Electrical and/or I&C experience and qualifications are highly desired.
