Position SummaryT-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network. As a Senior Analyst, IT Quality Assurance, you will lead Finance Back Office software testing for new systems and related upgrades to ensure financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Support the new Billing and OSS system and subsequent upgrades, along with the existing 5 disparate billing systems.
- Understand system functionalities and downstream financial reporting systems, databases, and data warehousing flows to facilitate test design.
- Participate in test requirements, functional specifications, and technical specification reviews and write business-focused test plans.
- Collaborate with Back Office users to understand various scenarios and prioritize test requirements.
- Ensure all scenarios are mapped to relevant requirements in Jira Align for SOX compliance.
- Develop test cases, execute test scripts, and document and communicate test results.
- Use Jira as a defect tracking system to communicate defects and their status.
- Partner with Back Office business teams to validate test results for accuracy and completeness.
- Represent Back Office teams on defect triage working sessions and assist IT with determining root cause analysis.
- Identify design gaps, opportunities for process improvement, and develop training materials.
- Designing, developing, and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Device and Supply Chain Accounting, Service Revenue Accounting, and Billing and Operations Support Systems.
- Utilizing Financial Reporting and Data warehousing systems along with creating customized SQL and PL/SQL queries in Teradata databases.
- Extracting, cleansing, and loading of data from SAP source systems necessary for reconciliation of financial reporting.
- Utilizing test automation strategies including UI-automation and back-end automation.
Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
