Position: Information Security Analyst - Part-Time

We are in search of a skilled Information Security Analyst to become an integral part of our innovative e-commerce platform on a part-time basis. If you possess a strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity and have the expertise to implement protective measures for sensitive data, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Protocol Development: Formulate and enforce information security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard our systems and data.
  • Incident Management: Address security incidents, perform investigations, and execute corrective actions to avert future breaches.
  • Security Evaluations: Carry out regular security assessments and risk evaluations to pinpoint vulnerabilities and propose solutions.
  • Security Education: Train staff on security protocols, potential threats, and best practices to cultivate a culture of security awareness.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize security tools to oversee network activity, investigate potential threats, and implement preventive measures.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of security measures, incidents, and actions taken for future reference.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in information security, ideally within an e-commerce or comparable sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software.
    • Knowledge of network security, encryption protocols, and firewalls.
    • Capability to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
