About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer II to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy systems comprising implantable stimulators, leads, catheters, and external programmers.
  • System Maintenance and Support: Monitor and investigate post-market product performance issues, troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to hardware, software, and system behaviors.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, prepare and present reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support design projects and initiatives, provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a systems engineering or related role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
