Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostics Engineer II to support our combat vehicle programs. The successful candidate will assist with evaluating design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications and recommend improvements where feasible.

In this role, you will interact closely with lead diagnostics engineers and design engineers to assess and improve the design to meet product requirements and customer needs.

The Diagnostics Engineer II will work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities and taskings. You will provide planning and execution support to different phases of the project through the life of a program from concept to fielding.

You will leverage physical, hands-on prototypes to provide rapid feedback to the design team. Additionally, you will contribute to and provide input to team direction and responsibility for continuous learning with a focus on domain skills and model-based, digital engineering enterprise capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing system and subsystem designs for diagnostics deficiencies and recommending potential corrective action.
  • Developing strategies, testing, and analysis methods for complex problems.
  • Performing troubleshooting on electrical/electronic and computer assemblies at a sub-system and system level using the most effective method.
  • Conducting diagnostics analyses to include diagnostics modeling, test logic, failure analysis, etc.
  • Familiarity with model-based analysis tools such as eXpress or Cameo.

Experience Required:

  • Review and evaluation of electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Developing strategies, testing, and analysis methods for complex problems.
  • Performing troubleshooting on electrical/electronic and computer assemblies at a sub-system and system level using the most effective method.
  • Conducting diagnostics analyses to include diagnostics modeling, test logic, failure analysis, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostics engineering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with model-based analysis tools such as eXpress or Cameo.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with combat vehicle diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of digital engineering enterprise capabilities.
