Position Title: Product Pricing Coordinator
Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-exempt
Reports To: Store Manager or Assigned Supervisor
MISSION STATEMENT:
Liberty Ministries is dedicated to supporting individuals in prison and those reintegrating into society by demonstrating compassion, offering practical support, and upholding Biblical principles of justice.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Pricing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that products within their designated category are accurately priced based on factors such as style, quality, condition, and brand recognition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and adhere to store organization protocols.
- Familiarize yourself with products in your category: Accessories, Linens, Electronics, Literature, Home Décor, Kitchen Items, Antiques, Footwear, Toys, and Apparel.
- Price items in your category in accordance with Liberty Ministries Thrift standards.
- During the pricing process, evaluate products and recycle or dispose of those that do not meet store standards appropriately.
- Meet production targets established by management.
- Stock and display products according to LMT guidelines.
- Present items attractively to encourage customer purchases, which may involve cleaning or testing items as necessary.
- Assist customers at the cash register and provide support as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, push, pull, and lift 20-30 pounds, while standing for the duration of the shift.
- Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
- Capable of efficiently operating store equipment (price guns, taggers, tape dispensers, etc.).
- Ability to follow directions effectively.
- Maintain a neat appearance and uphold good personal hygiene.
- In good physical and mental health, able to stand for extended periods with emotional maturity and a sense of humor.
- Supportive of working within a Christian Ministry framework, embracing the Mission Statements of Liberty Thrift and Liberty Ministries.
- Willingness to perform various roles as required.
- Ability to work independently without immediate supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexible availability to meet business needs, including weekends.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Some High School education preferred.
