Job Summary
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Program Worker to join our team. As a Therapeutic Program Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and services provided
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic documentation and behavioral health skills
