Job Title: Certified Medication Aide

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at The Holgate Community. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing supportive services.

Job Summary

The Certified Medication Aide will work under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse to administer medications to residents, assist with daily living activities, and provide supportive services. This is a part-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Provide supportive services, including answering call lights and delivering messages
  • Document accurately the administration of medication into electronic health records
  • Assist with tracking the condition of residents' skin and reporting any changes to the nurse and supervisor
  • Participate in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing with the state
  • OR State endorsement certification as a Medication Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work in a geriatric setting
