About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Robotics Intern to join our team at Dexmate. As a Robotics Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on developing robust robotic manipulation skills and design, implement, test, and deploy state-of-the-art learning-based manipulation algorithms on real robots.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement advanced robotic manipulation techniques.
  • Design and implement software for robots, ensuring reliability and high-quality performance.
  • Work closely with other teams to advance robot manipulation capabilities using AI.
Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of employment.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program or have graduated from one. Majored in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in conducting AI and robotics research.
  • Deep technical knowledge of robot learning techniques (reinforcement learning, imitation learning, etc.).
  • Passionate about working with robots and building robot products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Python and at least one deep learning library such as PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax.
  • Experience with deploying AI models on real robots.
  • Experienced with robot simulators such as Isaac Gym/ Isaac Sim/ SAPIEN/ Drake/MuJoCo, etc.
  • A track record of research excellence with your work published in top conferences and journals such as Science Robotics, IJRR, RSS, CoRL, ICRA, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, etc.
