**Job Summary**
We are seeking an enthusiastic electrical engineer to join our Apple Watch Hardware Product Group. As a Hardware Systems Integration Engineer, you will work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative hardware solutions for mobile device products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and tradeoffs.
- Develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.
- Design and develop schematic capture, PCB layout design, prototype bring up and debugging, functional verification, signal characterization, hardware bug tracking, and working with and managing suppliers/manufacturing partners.
Requirements:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: system integration, processor selection, various communication protocols (especially USB, SPI, I2C and UART), analog integration, audio design and measurement, power electronics design, sensor design and integration & low power design.
- Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification or manufacturing support.
- Great EE fundamentals.
- BS/MS Degree in technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tools: Cadence Concept & Allegro or similar.
- Broad experience with low power low noise designs preferred.
