Job Summary:

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a highly skilled General Construction Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient execution of an OCONUS project in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement project plans and oversee project coordination with the project team.
  • Lead regular internal and external tailgate meetings, including daily discussions on project health and safety.
  • Prepare daily reports with the Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Review and process project submittals.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with on-site staff.
  • Coordinate with on-site subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years in construction, preferably with Federal/DOD experience.
  • OSHA 30 Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Federal government or DOD experience in construction.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Current security clearance.
  • Estimating experience, including RS Means.

Work Environment:

  • Job performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and supervises direct reports.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
  • Obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
